I am in a right quandry. We have had a quote to get windows done and they will be the really nice flush fit ones that dont look to 'upvc ish'.

They come in white obviously, black, a sort of oaky colour, chartwell greeen and a sort of grey and a cream.

The doors come in a much bigger range of colours.

Ive gone right off the green as it seems too bright, not subtle or dusky enough for me.

I really dont know what to go for. We dont have a modern house but its not particularly a 'period house' either, was born in 1929, has a bay window but not any other particular period features.

Please help.
