HI,

Boy it has been a day. Everything I have done seems to have had an issue or two. I am cutting couple of spoons, and I have switched to a tapered ball nose from a regular one. With the regular one I had been doing an offset cut, but with the tapered, I am doing a raster. Everything looks fine in the preview and best I can see in the gcode, but both spoon handles ended up like the picture below. At least two times it looks like the tool cut too deep and left gouges. I just reversed the direction on the raster, and tested it. It cut fine without dipping into the gouges. So it has to be the machine ?? but on both spoons exactly the same?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
